Experience is all about failures which leads to solving problems. The failures can be big or small but the options you use to overcome them is your arsenal to fight against their appearance in future it is your experience and your seniority. 

We always pay for any failure. The price can be different, the impact can be different and the level of responsibility varies but the main focus still on the result at the end.  

There is no single failure in product. Any failure is not living in a vacuum it is always influence on all the product, business, reputation and all the aspects of the product related together. 

Due to the relation and interconnection you can aways find loops where one action inevitably leads to events and results which can become a cause of an issue.

Loops, where did they come from?

Decades of experience shows me the loops and connections I’ve meet in a different areas. They appears in fully expected and unexpected places. What I like the most in the loops is their ability to lead to decisions aiming to avoid the mistakes already been made. 

Are they joined? 

Each area I’m discovering create the “magic quadrant” remaining  to keep all the things in balance. Business, product, security and management all the parts tied together and allows to access the health of the product on one page all together. 

Business

Let’s be fair it’s all about money. All our amazing products can focused on clients needs, all our technologies can prove our ideal solutions, all our security measures can fully defend any assets but when it doesn’t fit to the business it doesn’t fit at all. And all the time spent to such ideal horses in a vacuum can be considered as experiment but not the solution. 

Each step should be done with focus on business objectives, strategy, and needs. However without product, security, and management the business will be as a head without body which fully control the body but the quality of the results significantly depends on the body shape. 

Product

It’s all about client. It is the most loved part. Millions of ideas, dreams, options, and other joyful staff everyone is so glad dealing with. Let’s take a look who doesn’t like to talk about users needs, developing new (newer existing) products or unexpected combinations of already existing ones, with stunning user experience and design, with nearly perfect go-to-market strategy and incredible marketing campaigns for organic audience grow over millions downloads, visits, and accounts. The product part gives deep understanding of our clients universe. It leads the business ideas and decisions in the direction where it succeed with minimal required effort to reach the best result. 

Security

It’s all about trust. The only word security can get bored anyone. It’s always close to threads, vulnerabilities, risks, and weaknesses. Who lovers talking about that? 

The only way to keep security and compliance in focus is to mix it  with all the fancy topics and make it discussible from the day one. Secure and compliant by design product means it’s not a boring step in the product creation but the product nature and way it’s created.

Management

It’s all about team. People can bring tremendous boost to each of the sphere as well as become a terrible bottleneck. Management and leadership is to make things happened with people and appropriately plan and move with the team through all the stages. Moreover it brings transparency, predictability, and drive to whole business life. 

How to keep them all?
